Merry meet, Reader! I’m excited to share that my new lecture, “The Man Shepherd Poimandres (The Vision of Hermes Trismegistus),” premieres today, June 20, at 11:00 AM PT. In this episode, I examine 'Poimandres: the Shepherd of Men' (also known as The Divine Pymander), the first treatise in the Corpus Hermeticum—a foundational text in the Hermetic tradition. The treatise presents a dialogue between Hermes Trismegistus, a symbolic figure of spiritual wisdom, and Poimandres, a divine being. Through their exchange, profound spiritual insights and metaphysical truths are revealed in a visionary experience that transcends ordinary understanding. It covers themes such as the connection between light, life, and the cosmos, the duality of human nature, the creation of elements, and the pursuit of divine knowledge.
